By accessing or using CAUSE, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

CAUSE is a causal explanation engine powered by AI. It provides explanations for “why” questions by combining insights from multiple AI models. The service includes free and paid tiers with varying usage limits.

3. User Accounts

To create an account, you must provide a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Each person may only maintain one account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use CAUSE for any illegal activity
• Attempt to reverse-engineer the AI pipeline
• Make automated or bulk queries beyond your tier limits
• Share your account credentials with others

5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

CAUSE provides AI-generated explanations, not professional advice. Explanations may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. Do not rely on CAUSE for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions. Always verify important information with qualified professionals. All explanations are provided “as is” with no warranty of accuracy.

6. Paid Subscriptions

Pro and Enterprise tiers are billed monthly through Razorpay. You may cancel your subscription at any time. No refunds are provided for partial months. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

7. Data & Privacy

Your use of CAUSE is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

8. Intellectual Property

The CAUSE brand, user interface, and pipeline are owned by us. Your questions and uploaded data remain yours. We may use anonymized and aggregated data to improve the service.

9. Limitation of Liability

CAUSE is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any decisions made based on CAUSE explanations. Our maximum liability is limited to the fees you have paid in the last 12 months.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of CAUSE after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Major changes will be communicated via email to registered users.
